Brute force ways of ensuring cross-browser style can be to put everything, and I mean everything, in images. Mind you, these could be vector images. There is little reason vector images would overall be much heavier as far as load compared to ASCII content, structure and style. Vectors, strings placed/moved by vectos, and a &quot;web&quot; that only professionals can build and maintain.
:P I see a whole new market for tools!
And Java is cross-browser too :) Just a liiiitle bit slow.
